Hello everyone! We are Dwayne Brown and Anita Ruivo, a photography team from Ottawa.
Thank you very much for answering the participation form that your teachers sent you. We are very happy to have you in this photoshoot.
We will spend a few hours taking photographs of you to show future newcomers to Canada the many ways they can learn English in Canada.

The photoshoot will take place on the following days:
Wednesday, June 5th, Thursday, June 6th and Monday, June 10th
Here is some information about the photoshoot:
We will need you for approximately 2 hours on one of those three days.
We will schedule you with the information from your participation form.
The payment for your participation will be $100.
We will be photographing you outside.
An example of an outside scene would be a park, on the street, waiting for the bus, at an outdoor café etc.
We will also be photographing you inside.
An example of an inside scene would be a library, inside an office, waiting at a doctor’s office, at home etc.
The photos will show you learning on different devices such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
We will photograph 2 to 3 people every 2 hours. Sometimes you will have to wait a little bit.
We will guide you and make you feel comfortable.
Before the photoshoot we will send you additional information about where to meet, what to wear etc..

Preparation Information
There are 6 sessions in total. You will be assigned one of these sessions. We have emailed you with specific instructions about where to meet us for your session.
Clothing:
Most locations require you to walk a little, so please wear comfortable shoes.
Try and wear clothing that you like and that is comfortable and clean.
Any colour of clothing is fine but please avoid big letters or labels on t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps etc.
If you wish, you can bring an extra outfit but make sure you can carry it with you in a bag. We will be moving around.
If you have an outfit from work (ex. a cap, an apron, a vest, a helmet etc.) and if you can bring it, please do.
If you don’t know what to wear, a t-shirt / shirt in solid colours with pants / jeans / shorts / skirt is always a good choice.
If you usually carry a bag or a backpack, please bring it, too.
Extras:
If you have a favourite water bottle that you use, bring it along with you.
Please feel free to bring your tablet, laptop or mobile device.
If you are bringing your children, you can bring their favourite toy(s).
Sometimes you will have to wait while we photograph others. Please be patient. We will try and move quickly!
Payment:
You will be paid by a bank interac e-transfer
Your teacher will teach you how to make an invoice using a template

All of these things are important, however, the most important thing is to bring your good disposition and your beautiful smile!
